Detransitioner Chloe Cole Wins $2 Million in Landmark Malpractice Case

Chloe Cole, a detransitioner, recently celebrated a significant legal victory, having been awarded $2 million in a malpractice lawsuit against her previous surgeon and psychologist. She took action after being persuaded to undergo a double mastectomy at the age of 16. The jury granted her $1.6 million for her past and ongoing suffering, along with $400,000 to cover future medical needs.

In discussing the case with Fox News host Jackie Heinrich, Cole expressed that, while the ruling is important, it doesn’t completely rectify the damage inflicted on her generation by pro-trans medical professionals. She stated, “Two million dollars is not enough. That’s almost enough to compensate for the damage these doctors have done to my generation.”

Cole also voiced her frustrations regarding the entire medical system involved, suggesting, “I think it would be right if the doctors and clinics faced severe penalties for their actions.” She seemed optimistic about the implications of her case for others, indicating that it might positively influence the remaining 28 similar cases that are underway. “It’s a hopeful sign for the children who have been harmed and are now seeking justice,” she observed.

She further claimed that there will likely be an increasing number of young individuals seeking justice for what they’ve endured, as many have experienced irreversible changes due to gender-affirming treatments.

“There could be hundreds, if not thousands, of detransitioners who have faced drastic medical interventions at a young age,” she remarked, sharing her belief that even though these actions can’t be undone, every affected child deserves recognition and justice.

Cole criticized the political landscape, mentioning that the push for transgenderism appears ideologically driven rather than scientifically based. She noted that many involved in these practices seem to prioritize profit over genuine care for the well-being of children. Cole stressed that the narrative often presented to parents—that they had no choice—serves to mislead those considering medical options for their children.
