Margot Robbie Dazzles at Wuthering Heights Photocall
Margot Robbie seems to be diving deeper into her Wuthering Heights persona with each appearance.
For a photocall in London prior to the film’s premiere, she opted for a striking Victorian-inspired outfit from the archives.
Robbie showcased a vibrant silk brocade duster coat from John Galliano’s Spring/Summer 1992 collection, which was fastened at the chest with four hooks, revealing her navel.
The coat featured delicate pink feather accents at the cuffs and collar, a bold choice indeed.
Underneath, she sported a black micro miniskirt paired with red thigh-high stockings that were tied with pink silk ribbons, a look reminiscent of the original runway styling from 34 years ago.
To complete her ensemble, Robbie chose pale blue-gray satin d’Orsay heels and pearl drop earrings.
This trend of method dressing really took off during the promotion for her 2023 film “Barbie.” Collaborating with stylist Andrew Mukamal, Robbie has been channeling her characters effectively on the red carpet, amplifying the fashion elements linked to each film’s debut.
Just a few days into her promotional tour, she has already made a name for herself embodying Catherine Earnshaw, the iconic character from Emily Brontë’s novel that’s been adapted into film.
Her previous appearances have showcased a range of outfits—corsets, gathered ball gowns, and sheer lace ruffles—across cities like Los Angeles and Paris.
Jewelry? She’s not holding back there either.
Recently, she donned Elizabeth Taylor’s Cartier Taj Mahal necklace featuring an impressive 69.42-carat heart-shaped diamond. Just two days prior, she was seen with a red velvet choker adorned with a Lorraine Schwartz stone weighing over 100 carats.
With more than a week remaining until the movie hits theaters, it’s exciting to think about what else Robbie might unveil from her stunning collection.
