Taylor Swift’s Stylish Afterparty Appearance
Even though Taylor Swift didn’t attend the Grammy Awards on Sunday, she certainly found a way to make a splash. The pop icon, well-known for her chart-topping hits, was spotted at an afterparty clad in a recognizable dress, according to fans on social media.
Jade Robertson, co-founder of the brand behind the dress, mentioned that Swift opted for a black crushed velvet number from their collection, called the Sweet Jane dress. Interestingly, she also owns the same style in green, which she paired with striking thigh-high snake-printed boots during an outing in New York last month.
Robertson shared insights about the inspiration behind the dress: “The ’70s really inspire the aesthetic of Little Lies. We had a fall 2023 collection titled ‘Sound City’ reflecting the music trends of that era.” She emphasized that the dress blends comfort with a feminine silhouette, making it a perfect match for Swift’s unique style.
Besides the Sweet Jane dress, Swift is also a fan of the label’s Rooms on Fire slip, a midi-length piece featuring lace and floral designs.
Robertson expressed her admiration, remarking, “It’s just amazing that someone like Taylor, who supports smaller brands, chooses us. It’s a fantastic use of celebrity for promoting independent designers.”
While Swift might not have walked the Grammy red carpet, her appearances in the past certainly turned heads. In 2025, she dazzled in a vivid red Vivienne Westwood ensemble, complete with over 60 carats of magnificent Lorraine Schwartz jewels, including a custom leg chain that immediately grabbed attention.
Last year, she won Album of the Year for “Midnights,” showcasing a stunning Schiaparelli couture dress layered with ornate jewelry. I mean, who could forget her midnight-themed jewelry?
Though she wasn’t nominated this year because her latest album, *The Life of a Showgirl*, missed the eligibility window, it will be in the running for the 2027 Grammys. With 14 Grammy Awards to her name, Swift is a record-holder—she’s the first female artist to earn seven nominations for Album of the Year and the first to win it four times.
