Billboard Truck for 'The Invisible Coup' Delivers Birth Tourism Revelation to China's Embassy

Recently, a billboard truck appeared in front of the Chinese-American Embassy in Washington, D.C. It drew attention to Peter Schweitzer’s revelations from his bestseller, The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon.

The truck prominently displayed “BIRTH TOURISM” on both sides, and added, “One million people born on American soil and raised in communist China can vote in American elections.” More details can be found at the book’s website: TheInvisibleCoup.com.

The advertisement pointed to a significant finding from Schweitzer, who heads the Government Accountability Institute. He noted that more than one million Chinese who were born in the U.S. will soon be eligible to vote in American elections.

Specifically, Schweitzer elaborates on how Chinese nationals have leveraged America’s birthright citizenship laws through what’s known as birth tourism, where mothers travel to the U.S. to give birth so their children automatically receive U.S. citizenship.

In his book, Schweitzer explains, “When these children turn 21, they can apply for their parents’ immigration status.”

He mentioned that while it’s hard to quantify the full extent of birth tourism due to a lack of government tracking, he estimates that around 1.5 million Chinese citizens born in the U.S. now reside in China.

Schweitzer argues that this presents a unique challenge for the U.S., suggesting that many of these new citizens have no connection or loyalty to America.”

He pointed out that many of these individuals come from elite backgrounds, influenced by an education system that promotes the Chinese Communist Party’s perspective. As U.S. citizens, they can vote and eventually sponsor their parents for permanent residency, creating a potential influx starting in 2030.

Additionally, he provided insight into how the birth tourism trend grew significantly during Barack Obama’s presidency, allowing Chinese nationals, including Communist Party officials, to give birth in the U.S. and claim citizenship.

In one notable chapter, Schweitzer outlines how the Obama administration eased restrictions on maternity travel and lifted visa denial policies for childbirth purposes.

He noted that in 2014, a 10-year reciprocal visa agreement was created, further simplifying travel for childbirth, allowing multiple entries without the need for annual interviews.

Schweitzer references records showing that it’s common for families to have several children born in the U.S. for citizenship.

He emphasizes that for the Chinese Communist Party, there’s a troubling aspect: those taking advantage of these services might not reject their home government’s values.

Schweitzer provides examples of birth tourism companies that service elite clients, underlining a troubling financial motive and a historical pattern of mass immigration used strategically by China.

He describes how, during the late 90s, the Chinese government orchestrated the relocation of thousands of people into Hong Kong under false identities, indicating a push to maintain influence over the territory.

Quoting scholar Ying Qian, he elaborates on how these “migrant” individuals acted as a subtle force for the Chinese government, steering the region’s trajectory.

On February 5th, the Breitbart Fight Club will host a roundtable where members can engage with Schweitzer about his findings. Schweitzer’s book debuted at the top of the New York Times Bestseller list and is available for purchase.
