Trump Endorses Clay Fuller for Georgia Congressional Seat

Former President Donald Trump has voiced his support for Clay Fuller, the District Attorney for the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit, who is running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District. This seat became vacant earlier this year when Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican who had been an ardent Trump supporter, decided to step down following a rift with the former president.

Trump made his endorsement known on social media, stating it was a “great honor” to support Fuller, referring to him as an “America First Patriot.” In his post, he also noted Greene’s fall from favor, describing her as “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown” last year, which perhaps hints at changing sentiments within GOP circles.

Trump highlighted Fuller’s experience as a District Attorney and Air National Guard officer, emphasizing the qualities of wisdom and courage that he believes are essential for protecting the country. He stressed the need to advance America’s energy independence, secure borders, combat immigration crime, and uphold the Second Amendment rights.

“He has substantial backing from influential figures in Georgia’s MAGA movement as well as other Republicans in Congress,” Trump asserted. “I wholeheartedly endorse Clay Fuller as your next representative; he won’t disappoint you!”

In response, Fuller expressed gratitude for Trump’s endorsement, calling it “the honor of a lifetime.” He assured that he would work hard for the 14th District and emphasized that their effort to prioritize America had only just begun.

A special election to fill Greene’s former seat has been scheduled for March 10, according to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. Should no candidate garner a majority, a runoff will be held on April 7, 2026.
