Treveillon Henderson Ties the Knot Before Super Bowl
Patriots rookie Treveillon Henderson recently shared some personal news: he’s now married. This announcement comes just ahead of his potential first Super Bowl ring, as the Patriots gear up to face the Seattle Seahawks in Santa Clara, California, this Sunday.
The 23-year-old running back revealed the news on his podcast, “The Walk.” He mentioned that he and his girlfriend, whose name remains confidential, decided to elope after getting engaged last September.
“The Lord kept us pure for several years before marriage,” Henderson said, grinning. “Guess I just spilled the beans.” He emphasized that they are officially married after getting engaged and then tying the knot privately.
Interestingly, he didn’t disclose the exact date of their marriage. However, he did reflect on his growth as a husband. “I’ve learned the beauty of marriage, and the Lord is still working on my heart. Honestly, our marriage has been wonderful so far,” he shared.
Henderson shared that they’ve been dating for about three years now. Their relationship began, he recalled, when he messaged her on TikTok during his sophomore year at Ohio State University. “Eventually, she got baptized, and we’ve really committed to living Christ-centered lives,” he explained. They’ve been together for almost three years since he met her in second grade, which is kind of sweet, isn’t it?
Looking back, he noted, “I was really searching for a serious relationship at that time.” It’s almost amusing how he prayed for it during a tough period in his life.
He initially announced his engagement on Instagram back in September 2025, quoting, “‘Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.'” This accompanied a photo featuring his fiancée proudly showing off her engagement ring.
Adding a romantic touch, the proposal happened on a bed of red rose petals, with LED letters asking, “MARRY ME.” It sounds like something straight out of a movie.
As for the Super Bowl, Henderson’s wife is expected to be in attendance on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium. He was drafted by the Patriots in the second round last year, making this moment even more significant as they embark on this new chapter together.
