Four Americans lost their lives due to a collision caused by an immigrant truck driver permitted entrance under current border policies championed by President Biden and various Democratic leaders.

The incident occurred when Bekzan Bayshekeyev, a 30-year-old truck driver hailing from Philadelphia, failed to stop for traffic on State Route 67 in Jay County, Indiana. This unfortunate event resulted in the deaths of four Amish individuals from the Bryant community: Henry Eicher, 58, along with his son Menno, 33, and two others, Paul, 31, and Simon Schwartz, 22.

Bayshekeyev was reportedly detained by ICE following the crash.

This tragic occurrence highlights a darker side of trucking practices, where deaths caused by non-specialized drivers—often from the black market—are becoming more frequent. Notably, Democratic leaders have yet to publicly condemn the incident, which raises questions about their stance on immigration policies, particularly with the upcoming elections.

Many believe that Bayshekeyev was part of a larger, questionable trucking network, boosted by Alejandro Mayorkas’ pro-immigration strategies, which have softened border controls. Critics argue that these policies have prioritized the interests of immigrants over American workers and have contributed to stagnant wage growth.

It’s been reported that he was employed by what’s known as a “chameleon carrier,” part of a network exploiting foreign workers by facilitating illegal job placements. While some immigrants here might possess legal tourist visas, they often engage in unlawful employment.

Bayshekeyev entered the U.S. under a program pushed by Democratic interests. Background information indicates he’s originally from Kyrgyzstan. Interestingly, many drivers in this sector come from impoverished nations, which may lead to decisions that compromise safety standards in a desperate bid for financial support for their families.

Unfortunately, the allure of higher earnings often pushes these drivers to ignore regulations, form unsafe partnerships, or accept lower pay, which in turn undercuts American drivers and discourages investment in safer, more efficient technologies.

This underground industry has gained traction among major corporations, as it allows for reduced logistics costs without the burdens related to hiring compliant workers. However, it poses serious risks to the safety and reliability of the trucking sector that traditionally adheres to strict regulations.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy’s attempts to address these issues are meeting fierce resistance from various industries and political circles, who fear that enforcing these regulations could lead to wage increases and inflation.

Moreover, these black-market trucking companies cleverly exploit their structural advantages to evade legal scrutiny, often changing names or operational details to sidestep regulations.
