TPUSA Plans Another Halftime Show After Successful Debut
Andrew Corbett, a spokesperson for Turning Point USA (TPUSA), recently shared exciting news about the organization’s plans for another Super Bowl halftime show next year. He described the inaugural event as a “huge success,” highlighting its impressive reach of at least 20 million views across social media platforms. It seems like there’s a lot of data still coming in, so that number could potentially rise.
Corbett made this announcement during an appearance on “One Nation with Brian Kilmeade,” expressing his belief that within the next day, the view count might climb to 40 or even 50 million. That’s quite a prediction, but it’s clear people are talking about it.
He remarked, “This is a shot across the bow. People are paying attention.” It’s interesting to think about what they might achieve with a little more time to plan. “We have to do it for our country,” he added, expressing gratitude for the success of the first show.
TPUSA’s “All American Halftime Show” featured performances by Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. It was streamed live on YouTube, coinciding with Bad Bunny’s performance during the official Super Bowl LX Halftime Show.
The event also included a tribute to TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk, which took place as Kid Rock ended his performance. A heartfelt moment, it featured a tribute that read, “In Remembering Charlie Kirk,” along with a photo of Kirk’s family. Corbett mentioned Kirk’s intention for the show: he wanted it to embody the nation’s highest ideals, as opposed to settling for what is, perhaps, more common.
Describing the performance, Corbett said it was all about “good music for Americans, for people who wanted to be proud of their country, love their God, and enjoy great music.” That’s a nice vision, isn’t it?
Meanwhile, Bad Bunny’s halftime show, which was mainly in Spanish, faced criticism from some public figures, including former President Donald Trump and boxer Jake Paul. However, others, such as country artist Kacey Musgraves, have spoken out in favor of Bad Bunny’s performance and criticized TPUSA’s alternative show.
