The Department of Homeland Security did not immediately provide information about the incident when contacted for comments.
The St. Paul Police Department directed inquiries to a statement released on Wednesday, shortly after the event.
KimKatieUSA expressed concern about the police characterization in a follow-up post, mentioning, “It’s strange that no assistance was rendered even with non-life-threatening injuries, and the victim was entirely covered while being transported to the ambulance.”
