Schweizer's 'Invisible Coup' Tops NYT Bestseller List for Three Consecutive Weeks

Peter Schweizer’s New Book Reaches Bestseller Status

Peter Schweizer’s latest work, The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon, has claimed the top position on the New York Times bestseller list for hardcover nonfiction for three weeks straight.

As reported by Breitbart News, the book hit the number one spot on February 22nd and has remained there since its debut in January. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Schweizer, an investigative journalist, has achieved this milestone.

In a social media update, he expressed gratitude, stating, “‘The Invisible Coup’ ranked #1 on the NYT bestseller…3 weeks in a row! Thank you everyone!”

According to reports, Schweizer dedicated two years working with a team of forensic investigators at the Government Accountability Institute to uncover how various entities—ranging from political leaders to NGOs and even drug cartels—are manipulating immigration for political gain. They utilized a trove of classified documents and intercepted communications to trace the flow of money involved.

Prior to its official release, the book reached the top spot on Amazon. In an interview with Steve Bannon earlier in January, Schweizer discussed the implications of birthright citizenship, particularly regarding how it’s leveraged by the Chinese government. He highlighted that the U.S. federal government lacks awareness of the number of children gaining citizenship each year through this provision.

“Here’s the problem, Steve, our federal government has no idea how many children are granted citizenship each year through this birthright citizenship. They don’t track it… They believe that for the past 13 years, approximately 100,000 Chinese babies have been born in the United States each year,” he explained. These children often return to China, and when they turn 18, they will be able to vote and participate in political activities.

Bannon addressed the audience, hoping the information would shift perspectives on the issue. He urged, “I hope you’re shaking, dear reader. I hope you’re shaking to the core, because reading this book will shake you to the core.”

Schweizer’s The Invisible Coup debuted at the top of the New York Times bestseller list and is available for purchase through various outlets.
