Lisa Sweeney was seen boarding Scooter Braun’s private jet, highlighting her daughter’s ongoing relationship with the music executive.
On Wednesday, she was photographed in a beige sweatshirt paired with wide-leg jeans and black sneakers while leaving Los Angeles. Braun was also visible, getting out of a black vehicle with his curly hair and handling his large dog on a leash.
Interestingly, Lisa seemed to carry several shopping bags filled with unconfirmed items for the flight.
After her marriage with Stephen Sweeney, the couple welcomed Sydney and her younger brother, Trent. However, their relationship ended amid Sydney’s rise to stardom.
Lisa’s recent trip on the private jet coincides with a blossoming romance between her daughter and Braun. But Sydney, the “Euphoria” star, recently stated she feels she “doesn’t need a man” in her life.
Last month, she told Cosmopolitan, “I’m the boss of my life. I take charge. I go after what I want. I’m confident and successful. And I don’t really need a man.”
Sydney continued by emphasizing the importance of her friendships and support network, noting, “I have an incredible group of girlfriends. I have a team of badass women.” She also remarked that such independence might intimidate some men.
She added that a relationship with her can be challenging, recalling a past experience where she loved someone who ultimately couldn’t cope with her life. This led to feelings of devastation and prompted her to seek advice from her mother.
Speaking about her dating preferences, Sydney recounted a conversation with her mom, where she expressed doubts about a guy she was dating. Lisa simply replied, “Well, maybe he’s not your type, Sid.”
Sydney and Braun have been linked since August of last year, with their relationship gaining visibility after they were seen together in Venice, Italy, during a public event in June. They reportedly spent Thanksgiving at Sweeney’s home in the Florida Keys, enjoying activities like jet skiing and relaxing by the pool.
Though Sydney hinted at needing to be open to other experiences in her love life, it’s currently unclear who she was specifically referring to. Recently, she was spotted holding hands with Braun while out for a stroll in Los Angeles.
