An Australian influencer is alleging that Billie Eilish played a role in her exit from the U.S., following a crowdfunding effort to “move in” to a lavish mansion in Los Angeles. This influencer, Drew Pavlou, also mocked Eilish’s Grammy speech about “Stolen Land.”
Pavlou tweeted, “Billie Eilish Deported Me from the U.S. – I think her legal team contacted DHS.” He mentioned spending around 30 hours at LAX’s immigration office, trying to clarify that his remarks were all in jest and that he didn’t genuinely intend to move into Eilish’s home.
Most of the agents he encountered were friendly and even chuckled at the notion, but he felt there just wasn’t any way to resolve the matter there.
Pavlou further commented on the “leftists” potentially influencing parts of the bureaucracy and suggested he might be “misunderstood” as a theorist or artist.
While neither the Department of Homeland Security nor Eilish’s representatives have commented on the situation, Pavlou later shared an update that suggested Eilish’s team might have compiled a dossier on him. However, he hasn’t provided any tangible proof linking her to his visa troubles.
He recounted some odd inquiries from agents, who even questioned him about whether he had ever planned to harm Chinese Communist Party officials due to his activist background.
In a separate post, Pavlou noted that authorities asked if he had intentions of trespassing on Eilish’s property and suggested he should have secured a business visa for an upcoming appearance on a conservative media platform in Texas.
Though he wasn’t expelled from the U.S., he was told he would need a different visa for future entry. He clarified that he had not been deported but had faced entry denial over visa complications, countering any community notes suggesting otherwise.
This series of allegations followed his earlier humorous crowdfunding initiative to occupy Eilish’s house, which, amusingly enough, was tied to her outspoken statement regarding illegal habitation on “stolen land.” Eilish, who recently won Song of the Year at the Grammy Awards, made headlines with her remarks in her acceptance speech.
