RNC laughs at 'Forgot someone again?' after Democrats’ Presidents Day message omits a notable figure

Democrats found themselves under scrutiny for excluding one of their most noteworthy presidents from their President’s Day message, drawing attention from Republicans who highlighted the omission of former President Bill Clinton.

The “Happy Presidents’ Day” graphic notably excluded figures like John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, Franklin Roosevelt, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden.

Interestingly, during both Roosevelt’s and Biden’s presidencies, the only instances of not having a Democratic leader were with Clinton and Harry Truman.

In response, the Republican National Committee shared a post that featured a photo of Clinton, looking pensive while seated beside Hillary Clinton. The caption read, “Am I forgetting anyone again??”

Fox News Digital reached out to the Democratic National Committee inquiring if the exclusion was deliberate and also contacted the Clinton Foundation for a comment.

On a related note, Republicans shared a President’s Day image of Mount Rushmore, displaying a colored picture of President Trump alongside President Abraham Lincoln on the right side.

The Department of Health and Human Services even retweeted their post, emphasizing, “This President’s Day, we honor the leaders who shaped our country and reaffirm our commitment to contributing to the health and well-being of all Americans,” while including a composite image of Presidents Trump, Lincoln, and George Washington.

Clinton is often remembered as one of the more popular presidents, but his presidency wasn’t devoid of controversy.

The late Kenneth Starr investigated Clinton’s ties to a contentious 1978 land deal in the Ozarks, known as “Whitewater,” which unfolded when Hillary was serving as Arkansas’ attorney general.

While Clinton himself faced no charges, his business associates Jim and Susan McDougall did face convictions related to the failed deal. Hillary had previously represented banks at Jim McDougall’s law firm, and Clinton’s successor, Gov. Jim Guy Tucker, was also found guilty.

The Whitewater investigation ultimately led Starr to uncover the Monica Lewinsky scandal, which involved Clinton allegedly having an affair with a White House intern.

On January 26, 1998, Clinton famously denied any wrongdoing amid impeachment discussions related to the Starr investigation, asserting during a childcare policy press conference: “I did not have a sexual relationship with that woman.”

He further insisted, “I have never told anyone to lie. Not once. These allegations are false. And I need to get back to work for the American people.”
