The Dolphins are undergoing a significant roster transformation, and it seems starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa might be next in line to leave.
On Monday, Miami made a surprising move by releasing two key players: wide receiver Tyreek Hill and defensive end Bradley Chubb.
These decisions hint at a potential end of the Tagovailoa chapter in Miami, as multiple sources suggest the team is actively seeking trade options.
According to odds from a New York prediction market called Calci, there’s a 70% chance that Tagovailoa’s departure could happen for the 2026 season.
Among the possible destinations for Tagovailoa are the Falcons (29%), Cardinals (14%), Rams (13%), and Vikings (11%) as he looks to continue his career.
Interestingly, Tagovailoa remaining with the Dolphins or deciding to retire from the NFL has a 30% probability, according to the same odds.
Here’s a glimpse of the teams where Tagovailoa might land next season, should he really be wrapping up his time with the Dolphins.

Tagovailoa’s journey with the Dolphins has been quite a rollercoaster.
Drafted fifth overall in 2020, expectations were sky-high for the left-handed quarterback from Alabama.
He had a standout season in 2023, throwing for a career-high 4,624 yards and 29 touchdowns, guiding Miami to an 11-6 record and a spot in the playoffs.
Despite his success, Tagovailoa’s next two seasons were marred by repeated concussions and struggles in cold-weather matches.
He spent the final three games of the 2025-26 season on the bench while rookie Quinn Ewers took over, although Ewers couldn’t find his footing, ending with 15 interceptions and a low QB rating of 37.5.
As for Tagovailoa’s future, it seems he could either serve as a backup or compete for a starting role in training camp.
