Health and Human Services Secretary Collaborates with Musician on Fitness Video
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has partnered with musician Kid Rock to promote a message centered on fitness and healthy eating habits.
Kennedy shared the collaboration on social media, stating, “I teamed up with @KidRock to bring two simple messages to Americans: Stay active and eat real food.”
The announcement included an upbeat video titled “Secretary Kennedy and Kid Rock’s Rockout Workout,” which features clips of the two engaging in various fitness activities while Kid Rock’s song “Bawitdaba” plays in the background.
In the video, Kennedy and Kid Rock are seen enjoying meals, posing with the American flag and the Statue of Liberty, and exercising together. Kennedy demonstrates the seated arm curl machine while Kid Rock uses a cable machine beside him. In one part, Kennedy does crunches while holding onto Kid Rock’s leg, and later, both men are shown utilizing a lying leg curl machine.
At one moment, both individuals appear shirtless during their workout; Kennedy is riding a stationary bike while Kid Rock does push-ups in the background. The video also captures Kennedy taking an ice bath in jeans, while Kid Rock relaxes in a hot tub. They’re later shown playing pickleball and enjoying whole milk in a hot tub together.
This collaboration follows Kid Rock’s notable appearance at the Turning Point USA All-America Halftime Show, which was a substitute for the NFL’s Super Bowl halftime event. A TMZ Poll indicated that Kid Rock received 64.5% of the fan votes for a favored halftime performance, ahead of Bad Bunny’s 35.5%.
On February 9th, Kid Rock’s version of “‘Til You Can’t,” which he performed during the halftime show, soared to number one on the iTunes chart, surpassing Bad Bunny’s “DtMF.” Interestingly, the original version by country singer Cody Johnson also climbed the charts concurrently, outperforming Bad Bunny’s track.
The Turning Point USA All-America Halftime Show attracted an impressive viewership, totaling over 25 million across various broadcasting platforms, including more than 6 million on YouTube alone. However, final viewer statistics were not provided immediately.
