Trump to Release UFO and Alien Files

On Thursday, President Trump announced plans to instruct government officials to locate and disclose files related to UFOs and aliens.

“Due to the considerable interest shown, I will mandate the Secretary of the Army and other relevant departments to start identifying and releasing information regarding aliens, extraterrestrials, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), and UFOs, as well as any related details concerning these intriguing and complex matters,” Trump stated.

He added, “God bless America!”

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.), who chairs the House Oversight Committee’s Task Force on Declassification of Federal Secrets, expressed her congratulations on Trump’s announcement. “Looks like there’s going to be a lot of hearings on this! Thank you @POTUS!!!” she wrote online.

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.), also a member of the declassification task force, remarked, “This is a very serious matter. It’s time. Thank you @realDonaldTrump.”

Earlier in the day, Trump criticized former President Barack Obama for claiming in a recent interview that aliens are “real.” He remarked to reporters on Air Force One, “He shared classified information. He would never do something like that.” Trump acknowledged, “We don’t know if they are real or not, but there’s no doubt he provided classified information.”

Trump further commented, “He made a big mistake,” asserting that Obama took information out of a classified context. “No, I don’t have an opinion on it. I never talk about it. A lot of people do. A lot of people believe it.”

In a past interview with podcast host Brian Tyler Cohen, Obama stated that while he hasn’t “seen” aliens, he claimed they are not stored at Area 51. He later clarified that his previous remarks were part of a rapid-fire questioning format, suggesting that life could statistically exist somewhere in the universe.

As commander in chief, Obama noted there was “no evidence” of alien life. Following Trump’s announcement, Cohen faced criticism online for not pressing Obama for more details regarding UFOs and aliens. He even joked, “Hey, I had some follow-up questions, but now we’re going to find out the truth about aliens and UFOs, you’re welcome.”
