Cardi B’s Onstage Fall in Seattle
Videos have surfaced showing rapper Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, taking a tumble into a trap door while performing her song “Press” at a Seattle concert on Saturday night. This mishap occurred when she stepped back unexpectedly and lost her balance. Thankfully, she managed to get back on her feet and even smiled at the audience once the song wrapped up and the stage lights dimmed.
After the concert, Cardi took to X and shared, “Guys, I’m just a little clumsy because I’m moving too fast and overhyping myself. FK IT WE BALL. But seriously, yesterday wasn’t my fault.” Despite the fall, fans were quick to applaud her ability to laugh off the incident. One fan commented, “I love how you can laugh at yourself and move on! They want you to be embarrassed…for what?”
Another fan added, “Move fast and keep up the hype. Just don’t drop that crown, Queen. Yesterday may not have been your fault, but today you still won.” This fall came just over a week after she stumbled during a concert in Las Vegas while performing “Sotiana.” During that event, she slid off her chair unexpectedly.
In a recent video, Cardi B humorously pointed to a chair while assuring the audience, “government.” Following some viral moments, she tweeted, “Can someone please post a community note about this? This video is clearly Ai.” Earlier in the month, she filed a lawsuit with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement concerning her tour in Southern California.
Commenting on potential ICE interventions, she joked with the crowd, “If ICE gets here, we’ll jump them. Hmm, I’ve got a bear mace in the back. They won’t take the fans.” The Department of Homeland Security later stated they consider her past behavior to have improved, unless there are issues involving drugs or robbery.
In previous videos, Cardi has recalled her earlier days, stating, “I had to strip, I had to go, ‘Oh, you want to have sex with me?’ Yes, yes, yes, let’s go back to this hotel.” During her current “Little Miss Drama Tour,” which kicked off this month, she plans to perform 35 shows in support of her second album, “Am I the Drama?”
Cardi B recently shared updates about her tour on social media, stating, “In fact, all my shows so far have been sold out. I packed it from top to bottom! Thank you!!” She emphasized how she treats her performances as more than just concerts but as parties meant to be enjoyed by everyone attending.
