Dunkin’ Introduces a Massive New Iced Coffee Option
There’s a new twist on the classic ice bucket challenge—this time it’s all about coffee.
Dunkin’ Donuts is stirring up excitement among coffee lovers nationwide with its 48-ounce iced “coffee bucket.” This massive container holds about a third of a gallon of coffee, which is equivalent to what was once served in two extra-large cups.
However, these buckets come with a bit of a price tag, ranging from $8 to $12 depending on what you choose to fill it with. Options include classic iced coffee or iced lattes, and even specialty flavors like Blueberry Cobbler Iced Latte and Caramel Coco Iced Coffee.
Unfortunately, this beverage innovation is currently only being trialed in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Specific locations include stores in Durham, Lee, and Amherst, as well as one at the University of New Hampshire.
This limited availability has created quite a buzz, with some coffee aficionados racing to grab their own bucket. One TikTok user named Bella shared her excitement after a long drive that included toll roads just to get her hands on one.
Another dedicated fan, Stephanie Bouchy, also a self-described “dunkaholic,” mentioned she traveled an hour and 20 minutes at dawn for the sought-after bucket. She noted that it exceeded her expectations, especially since it wasn’t filled to the brim with ice. “I was pleasantly surprised,” she added.
Others have taken to social media to share their joy—or lack thereof—about the new product. Reactions are mixed: some think it’s absolutely fantastic, while others have expressed confusion about drinking coffee from a bucket at all. One person even joked about the impracticality of fitting it in a car’s cup holder.
Notably, at least one location reportedly ran out of stock, indicating a high demand for these oversized containers. It seems that whether people love it or hate it, the Dunkin’ coffee bucket is certainly making waves in the coffee community.
