Fatal Stabbing Incident Involving Son and Four Victims
In a tragic event, four individuals were stabbed to death at a home, where an elderly woman was in the process of securing a domestic violence protection order against her son.
According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement responded to a report on Tuesday about a 32-year-old man breaching a non-disclosure order. They found that the order was, indeed, not being followed.
The woman had reported that her son was experiencing serious mental health issues, including “delusions of grandeur, auditory hallucinations, and command hallucinations.”
While officers were attempting to enforce the order, they received another report about a man attacking people at the same residence near Tacoma. Upon arrival, they discovered that he had allegedly attacked four victims and was later found deceased.
Authorities subsequently shot the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Reports indicated that the stabbings occurred both in front yards and backyards of the residences involved.
Documents indicated that the woman had sought a protection order against her son, claiming he had mental health issues, a history of substance abuse, and had physically assaulted her. He had threatened her as well, stating ominously, “The grave has already been dug up.”
Additionally, the woman alleged that her son was engaging in “witchcraft and occult acts and rituals” in her home, leading to damage to property and even harm to her pet cat. “I’m just an elderly woman with a disability, and he’s exploiting my vulnerability,” she noted.
Despite her son not appearing in court, she was granted an order of protection that prohibited him from being within 300 feet of her and required him to adhere to a mental health plan. However, it remains unclear why he was not informed of the order, according to reports.
Authorities have yet to release the identities of the victims or the man killed by the deputies.
A neighbor recounted the chaotic scene: “Suddenly, I heard a bunch of gunshots. They were echoing through the trees. It was just heartbreaking.” He noted the presence of many police vehicles and an ambulance in the area.
