Jared Hudson: A Voice Against Child Exploitation

Jared Hudson, a former Navy SEAL and devout Christian, is not just a Republican contender for the Alabama Senate; he also heads the Covenant Rescue Group. This nonprofit is committed to addressing human trafficking and child exploitation through various avenues, including training law enforcement, organizing rescue operations, and advocating for victims.

In a recent episode of “Strange Encounters,” Hudson, joined by host Rick Burgess, explored troubling topics such as child exploitation and political corruption. They tied these issues into a broader context of what Hudson describes as spiritual warfare.

During their discussion, Hudson revealed something rather alarming. He mentioned that after spending years digging into the child exploitation industry, he discovered an even darker layer of depravity lurking in the U.S.

Since launching Covenant Rescue Group in 2019, Hudson and his team have encountered horrific situations that many of us find hard to comprehend. “I’ve seen men engaging in sexual acts with 18-month-old babies, I mean, it’s just… unimaginable,” he stated.

Despite the horror he has witnessed in his line of work, Hudson claims his involvement in politics in Washington, D.C. has opened his eyes to an even deeper level of corruption. “Honestly, I’m now more engaged in my Senate campaign than I am in the fight against child exploitation,” he admitted, catching Rick off guard.

Rick pressed him, curious about this statement. “You mentioned feeling a sense of demonic activity in the political arena. Isn’t that surprising considering the horrific side of child exploitation?”

Hudson explained that in some respects, tackling child exploitation has become somewhat easier because it remains a taboo subject that most people find abhorrent. There’s a noticeable societal outcry, certainly highlighted by the Epstein case.

While there are extremist groups trying to legitimize pedophilia as a “sexual orientation,” Hudson reassures us that, broadly speaking, society hasn’t lost sight of the need to protect children.

He drew parallels to the political landscape, describing it as a “swamp” filled with bias. “Everyone in politics—regardless of their stance against exploitation—holds biases,” Hudson remarked.

He connected this bias to corruption, referencing James 3:16-17, which addresses disorder and evil arising from envy and ambition, countered by wisdom that is pure and just.

Hudson noted that many career politicians, even those professing Christianity, often prioritize funding from donors over the needs of those they are meant to represent. “They favor their own inner circle instead of the broader public,” he observed, pointing out the bureaucracy driven by elites who seem to think they can control access and sway positions.

This systemic corruption, Hudson argues, is entrenched and affects all levels of governance, including Congress and the presidency. “Everything is essentially for sale,” Rick reiterated.
