Bill Clinton Pretends Not to Know About Epstein's Crimes During Testimony

Former President Bill Clinton stated he knew “nothing” about Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal activities, claiming he “didn’t see anything” that would raise concerns.

In a post on X, Clinton shared an excerpt from his opening remarks before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. He highlighted that, having experienced a background of domestic abuse, he wouldn’t have flown with Epstein if he had any awareness of his actions.

“I had no idea what crimes Mr. Epstein was committing,” Clinton stated. “Regardless of the photos presented, what matters most to me is two things: my own experiences and what I didn’t witness or participate in.”

Clinton elaborated further in his testimony:

Given my upbringing in a household marked by domestic violence, I wouldn’t have stepped onto his plane had I known what he was doing. I would have demanded accountability for his actions instead of facilitating a lenient deal.

He also mentioned that Epstein was skilled at concealing his wrongdoing for an extended period, asserting that once Epstein’s actions became public following his 2008 guilty plea, Clinton severed all ties with Epstein.

Clinton’s remarks came shortly after Hillary Clinton, the former First Lady and Secretary of State, communicated to the House Oversight Committee that she had “no knowledge” of Epstein’s illicit activities.

Hillary mentioned she “does not recall ever meeting Mr. Epstein” and had no involvement in his flights or visits to his private retreats.

While the Clintons have consistently denied knowledge of Epstein’s deeds, reports indicate that documents reveal Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s associate, played a significant role in establishing the Clinton Global Initiative.

Maxwell even attended Chelsea Clinton’s wedding, complicating the narrative.

Recently, Hillary Clinton attempted to distance herself from both Maxwell and Epstein, acknowledging several encounters with Maxwell. Meanwhile, Epstein’s documents prominently feature Bill Clinton.

Despite the denials, Maxwell was quoted in a Justice Department interview stating that Epstein was crucial in forming the Clinton Global Initiative.

Maxwell took part in financial discussions at the first CGI conference, collaborated with Clinton’s aides, and worked with Publicis Groupe for the initial event.

Documents linked to Epstein and Clinton have reportedly been released by the Department of Justice.

In a 2025 interview, Maxwell claimed she was friends with Clinton but not with Epstein, as reported by various sources.

Public records outline that Epstein “visited the White House multiple times” during Clinton’s presidency, with Clinton reportedly traveling on Epstein’s plane on several occasions in 2002 and 2003.

Additionally, Epstein is noted as a “Democratic Party donor,” who allegedly contributed to both Clinton’s 1992 presidential campaign and Hillary’s Senate campaign in 1999.
