Can Demons Shapeshift Like Aliens?

In a surprising claim, Josh Jennings, a writer and producer, shares a personal experience that suggests they might. During his teenage years, he encountered a frightening presence he likened to an alien, an experience that haunted him for years.

In a recent episode of *Strange Encounters* hosted by Rick Burgess, Josh recounts his unsettling story.

At age 14, his family moved into a “fixer-upper” house, which he describes as having “strange things done to them.” The lower half was a typical home, while the upper half functioned as a boarding house. One upstairs room, unbeknownst to him, had been covered in satanic symbols.

Even though his parents shielded him and his siblings from this unsettling space, they prayed, hoping to eradicate any evil spirits. Still, the remnants of that darkness lingered.

For a while, life seemed okay. That was until one night, when everything changed for Josh. He explains, “I was dreaming about baseball, and suddenly, I heard the crack of a bat. I woke up right away.”

As he looked out the window, something drew his attention. “Then, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a head in the closet. It looked human, but it wasn’t. It had pale green skin that glowed from within and close-cropped black hair. Then it bared its fangs at me.”

Even after 27 years, Josh remembers that entity vividly, particularly its teeth. “They were about an inch long and iridescent, almost like pearls,” he said.

Feeling trapped, Josh reacted like many kids would—he pulled the covers over his head and prayed for it to go away. When he mustered enough courage to look again, the figure had vanished.

That encounter was just the tip of the iceberg in Josh’s story. As he delved deeper into his family history, he learned that similar experiences had plagued relatives for at least two generations, involving demonic disturbances during sleep.

“It had a profound effect on my life,” Josh shared. Sleep eluded him, which led to a decade-long battle with alcohol. Lying awake, he was afraid to close his eyes or even open them again.

Years later, Josh faced another supernatural situation but believes this time the entity was an angel, possibly protecting him from further encounters with demons and aliens alike.
