Megyn Kelly Provides Proof While Criticizing Megan Rapinoe's Hostile Remarks About USA Hockey

Megan Rapinoe, despite her entire career being built on success with the U.S. national soccer team, consistently seizes opportunities to criticize American sports. Recently, she voiced her disapproval of the U.S. men’s hockey team, which celebrated winning their first Olympic gold medal in 46 years at the Winter Olympics.

Rapinoe specifically took issue with the men’s hockey team’s celebration, which included a phone call to former President Donald Trump via FBI Director Kash Patel. It’s quite typical for a gold medal-winning team to receive a call from the president, but Rapinoe seemed to view it differently.

Interestingly, the U.S. women’s soccer team has also been honored with calls from the president after achieving significant victories. Megyn Kelly sharply pointed this out while criticizing Rapinoe’s comments about the hockey team.

In her monologue, Kelly emphasized that Rapinoe’s real concern seemed to stem from the fact that Team USA chose to take the call from Trump.

Kelly remarked on Rapinoe’s apparent jealousy towards the men’s team, suggesting she harbors resentment against white men. “This woman who calls them clowns has a jealous nerve,” she stated. “She’s filled with hatred.”

Kelly recalled how President Obama called the women’s team after their 2015 World Cup win, highlighting a contrast in treatment. “She’s just jealous that they’re in the spotlight and she’s not,” Kelley continued, expressing that Rapinoe’s bitterness could stem from feeling overshadowed.

Team USA Hockey’s achievement brought both men’s and women’s gold to the country at the Winter Olympics. Rapinoe, on her end, has had her share of success: she’s been a prominent figure in U.S. women’s soccer, claiming multiple prestigious titles, and enjoys a protected marriage to former WNBA player Sue Bird. Yet, she often chooses to critique the very nation that has afforded her so much opportunity.
