Accountant for Epstein claims there are records of payments involving Donald Trump and his family, according to Comer.

Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime accountant, Richard Kahn, privately testified that he had no awareness of any payments made to Donald Trump by Epstein, according to House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.).

Kahn, who is one of the administrators of Epstein’s estate, is now part of ongoing investigations into how the federal government handled Epstein’s case. Comer mentioned that this was the fifth witness to assert under oath that Trump and his family were not involved in any transactions with Epstein.

During the testimony, Kahn stated that five individuals had made payments to Epstein: former Victoria’s Secret CEO Les Wexner, hedge fund manager Glenn Dubin, businessman Stephen Sinofsky, the Rothschild family, and investor Leon Black. These five are known to have sought Epstein’s services as a financial advisor.

Comer relayed Kahn’s belief that Epstein gained income as a tax advisor and financial planner based on these transactions.

Interestingly, Rep. Suhas Subrahmanyam, a Democrat from Virginia, provided a somewhat differing account of Kahn’s statements regarding Trump. He indicated that Kahn noted a person accusing Trump received a settlement from Epstein’s estate, but it remains unclear if the settlement directly relates to Trump himself.

Historically, Trump had a friendship with Epstein, which soured before the federal investigation into Epstein’s actions began. There’s, so far, no evidence linking Trump to any of Epstein’s criminal activities.

Subrahmanyam also mentioned that Kahn indicated a “head of state” had purportedly engaged in financial dealings with Epstein, but he did not specify who this individual was.
