Leaked information alerts of Iran's possible plan to carry out attacks in the US.

Recent leaked intelligence reports indicate that Iran might consider retaliating against the United States with a series of terrorist attacks on U.S. soil.

According to a report, which appears to be a collaborative effort from the FBI, Department of Homeland Security, and the National Counterterrorism Center, Iran’s strategies include using firearms for most planned attacks.

The report suggests that Iran might prioritize targeted killings of U.S. officials over large-scale attacks that result in mass casualties. Potential targets could consist of government officials, dissidents, and leaders within Jewish communities, intelligence sources indicated. The report also mentions that these individuals could potentially be lured to nearby countries for such attacks.

The FBI reportedly thinks Iran might prefer utilizing “radicalized individuals” with various ideological backgrounds who have legal access to the U.S., including those without direct ties to Iran.

These radical elements could be influenced by “graphic images” and reports of civilian casualties, serving to motivate violent actions on American territory.

Most of Iran’s proposed attack strategies might involve firearms, but other methods could include stabbings, vehicle attacks, bombings, poisoning, and even arson.

The report outlined how Iran uses various platforms—including social media and mapping applications—to identify targets for these potential attacks.

In addition, the bulletin discussed the Iranian government’s methods of communication, which might involve confidential meetings, burner phones, encrypted messaging, and utilizing cloud accounts to share sensitive information.

Concerns over possible cyberterrorism were also raised, suggesting tactics such as spear phishing and voice cloning might be used to gather information for surveillance.

Law enforcement agencies have been advised to keep an eye on individuals who appear in photos with weapons or show unusual patterns in purchasing military-like equipment.

The report expresses unease regarding radicalized individuals with anti-U.S. sentiments potentially acting out in response to prominent U.S. military actions versus Iran.

Initial plans for distributing this bulletin to local and state governments seemed to face hurdles, as the White House reportedly intervened due to concerns over its presentation. Following public scrutiny, a revised report is expected to be published soon, although it remains uncertain if there will be significant changes from the original findings.

White House press secretary Abigail Jackson refuted claims that the report had been obstructed, asserting that the administration is committed to ensuring accurate and up-to-date information dissemination.
