DeVonta Anderson Set to Become a Father

DeVonta Anderson, a participant from Season 10 of “Love Is Blind,” shared surprising news during the Netflix reunion on Wednesday: he’s expecting a baby and is also engaged.

“I got into this role because I wanted to be a husband and a father. Those were my top priorities,” the mortgage loan officer, who proposed to Brittany Wicker during the show, mentioned before revealing his exciting announcement.

He added, “I’m going to be a father this year.”

Anderson also shared that he’s engaged to his partner, although they currently live separately. He is residing in Arizona with fellow contestant Alex Henderson.

Interestingly, Brittany Wicker seemed unaffected by Anderson’s news. She mentioned that she is currently single and expressed that she wasn’t bothered by the changes in their relationship.

During the reunion, she confronted Anderson, alleging that he was a “drug” during their relationship, hinting at how things fell apart after they decided not to marry on the show. Wicker reflected on feeling that once he left her home, he was done with the relationship, but didn’t communicate that to her.

She highlighted an uncomfortable moment when Anderson referred to her as a “shadow” in a confessional, which left her feeling confused and unfulfilled in terms of their connection.

The reunion also saw other dramatic moments, like Brianna “Breezy” Macney and Connor Spies rekindling their romance after previously calling off their wedding, and Amber Morrison and Jordan Faeth announcing their divorce.
