U.S. Army Seeks Help Finding Stolen Drones

Officials from the U.S. Army are trying to track down two suspects who took four drones from Fort Campbell in Kentucky.

In response to the theft, a reward of $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects. According to reports, the drones were last noticed missing back in November.

Descriptions have emerged of the suspects; they were seen wearing dark hoodies and partial masks, adding an air of mystery to the case.

The Army noted on social media that these drones are Skydio X10D Drone Systems and mentioned that the Army Criminal Investigation Service is currently looking into what happened.

The drone systems were last observed on November 21, 2025, at the 326th Division Engineer Battalion building. Between November 21 and 24, someone unlawfully entered and took them. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Army CID Fort Campbell Station at (931) 801-0316 or submit an anonymous tip online.

According to Skydio’s website, these drones are designed for tough environments and are resilient against challenges like electronic warfare.

Interestingly, the Army also highlights that these devices feature enhanced photography capabilities compared to other drones of similar size, showing the technological advancement they represent.

There’s even video footage that captures soldiers as they practice using these drones to navigate buildings—both during the day and at night. This could give a glimpse into their operational use.

The U.S. Department of the Army states their commitment to enhancing America’s drone capabilities, focusing on manufacturing and integrating advanced technologies while fostering innovation among warfighters.

Overall, military drones are utilized not just for surveillance and reconnaissance, but also for various other tasks like combat support and precision strikes, showcasing their versatile role in contemporary military operations.
