Wolfgang Puck’s menu for the 2026 Governor’s Ball at the Oscars has been unveiled.

The 2026 Governor’s Ball menu has been revealed. If you thought that Hollywood was strictly into salads that fit with Ozempic diets, you might want to rethink that.

Expect to see items like smoked salmon pizza, chicken pot pie, mini wagyu sliders, macaroni and cheese, and artichoke agnolotti on the menu.

Puck’s standout creation this year is a smoked salmon Oscar appetizer—literally shaped like the iconic award—along with an impressive amount of Kaluga caviar.

After enduring a lengthy three-and-a-half hour show, attendees often find themselves hungry. “It’s all about the quality of the ingredients and the food,” Puck noted during a preview event. “We’re cooking for 1,500 people, so we keep it simple. No need for a myriad of sauces.”

But there’s more than just the basics. New offerings this year include an izakaya station featuring chefs making hand rolls, nigiri, and crispy mochi.

For dessert lovers, there’s a special bar with miniature chocolate Oscars covered in real 24-karat gold, Italian gelato, and apple strudel based on Puck’s mother’s recipe.

Byron Puck, Wolfgang’s son and co-chef, mentioned, “We have this new ice cream machine. It’s quite a challenge to make ice cream, sorbet, and gelato for 1,500 guests.”

He continued, “Normally, when you serve it, it’s like a rock because it’s so cold and needs to set overnight. This machine keeps everything chilled and spins the ice cream, resulting in a smooth, silky texture right from the start!”

To pull off this ambitious dining experience, Puck has enlisted 75 savory chefs, 45 pastry chefs, and 325 front-of-house staff and managers.
