Melania Trump Hosts Women’s History Month Celebration at the White House
First Lady Melania Trump invited guests to the White House on Thursday evening for a celebration of Women’s History Month. For the occasion, she chose a striking leopard-print skirt from Adam Lipps, a brand also known for the stylish double-breasted wool coat she wore during Inauguration Day last year.
The event took place in the East Room, where Mrs. Trump paired her chic maxi skirt with a cashmere crewneck sweater by Ralph Lauren and complemented the outfit with black suede Pigalle Follies 120 pumps from Christian Louboutin.
Interestingly, the skirt is priced at around $1,145, while the cashmere sweater is approximately $400. As for the Louboutin pumps, they’re no longer available as new, but some pre-owned pairs can be found online.
During the evening, President Trump addressed attendees, encouraging young women to “make time for yourself, educate yourself every day, and spread your passion.” He emphasized the importance of courage and risk-taking, urging future leaders to lead boldly while keeping their families central to their endeavors.
March has been designated as Women’s History Month in the United States since 1987, and it’s an event that highlights the contributions and achievements of women across the country.
