Meg Ryan Stuns at Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Meg Ryan made a rare appearance on the red carpet in Los Angeles on Sunday night, captivating everyone at the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

The actress, now 64, looked gorgeous in a satin green dress complemented by black platform heels. She opted for a minimalistic beauty look, showcasing light makeup and her signature blonde curls styled in a chic bob.

Earlier in the evening, Ryan honored Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle Singer during a heartfelt segment in the Oscars 2026 Tribute Corner. The couple tragically passed away in their California home at ages 78 and 70.

In a strapless black gown, Ryan stood beside her co-star from “When Harry Met Sally,” Billy Crystal, 78, as she delivered a touching tribute to the late filmmaker.

Crystal expressed appreciation for Reiner’s impactful work, noting, “Rob’s movies will stay with us forever because they made us laugh, they made us cry, and they were about the desire in his eyes to be better, kinder, funnier, but more human.”

After Crystal’s speech, over a dozen of Reiner’s co-stars appeared on stage, including stars from “Stand by Me,” Jerry O’Connell and Kiefer Sutherland, as well as others from classic films like “The Princess Bride.” Ryan and Crystal were joined by a notable group, including Kathy Bates, Demi Moore, and John Cusack, among others.

In her Instagram post following Reiner’s death, Ryan reflected, “Rob and Michelle, thank you for believing in true love, fairy tales, and laughter.” She also expressed gratitude for their faith in humanity and love for their country.

This marked the second consecutive year that Ryan and Crystal co-hosted at the Academy Awards. Last year, they celebrated the 35th anniversary of their film by presenting the Best Picture Oscar to “Anora.”

Ryan’s unexpected appearance at the ceremony last year was significant; it was her first awards show in 27 years. This year’s Vanity Fair gathering also saw notable guests like Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos, alongside other high-profile celebrities.
