John Cleese’s Warning on Britain’s Values

On social media, British actor John Cleese expressed a stark warning, stating that Britain would cease to exist if Christian values were “replaced by Islamic values.” He noted in a post on X that, despite the Church’s historical missteps, Christian teachings have profoundly shaped British culture for centuries.

He emphasized, “If these values were replaced by Islamic values, this would no longer be Britain.” This statement was in response to a post from conservative London MP Susan Hall, who asserted the need to fight for their culture and maintain the country as a Christian nation.

Hall further urged that citizens should support politicians who prioritize the nation’s interests instead of being distracted by global issues. In a video, she lamented the potential impact of the Greens on the Church of England, claiming the party has shifted away from environmental concerns to a more threatening ideology.

According to Hall, “The vast majority of us value our country as it is.” She stressed the importance of unity among communities and criticized the divisive nature of some political parties. Hall concluded with a rallying call for voters to engage in the upcoming elections, emphasizing the need to defend their culture.

In her video, she shared her passion for the Royal Family and British traditions, stating, “We must welcome others as much as we can, but we must take care of ourselves first.” She expressed concern over the current state of the nation.
