Kevin Hart Unimpressed with His Wax Figure
Kevin Hart is not pleased with the resemblance of his latest wax statue. Over the weekend, the comedian, who is 46, took to Instagram to express his dissatisfaction after posting a video of the figure. In the short clip, the wax figure dons a gold chain and a leather jacket, arms outstretched, accompanied by a commentary that humorously questions the identity of the figure, saying, “I know that’s not Kevin Hart.”
Hart reacted strongly, stating, “This is an attack… Who the heck is this????” He continued, “At this point, these museums are just trying to make me cry.” His post included a sad emoji and several laughter emojis, showing a mix of frustration and humor.
Fans quickly took to social media to share their opinions. One comment read, “That’s Devin Hart!” suggesting a mix-up with the figure’s identity. Others joked about it looking like they ordered “a wax figure of Tim” or that it had a “Jim Carrey makeover.” One fellow comedian humorously remarked, “I thought that was me,” while another quipped about the figure looking older than Hart’s youngest son.
Hart’s close friend, Dwayne Johnson, chimed in with a sarcastic remark under Hart’s original post, saying, “Perfect. No need to change anything.” This playful banter between the two stars is a nod to their comedic relationship, as Hart had previously joked about Johnson while filming the new Jumanji movie.
The wax figure was introduced at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, just last week, sparking a viral reaction as fans and critics alike weighed in on the likeness. Hart’s humorous critique sheds light on the sometimes comical discrepancies between celebrity images and their wax counterparts.
