Joe Rogan believes Trump might use UFO revelations to divert attention from the conflict in Iran.

Trump May Use UFO Disclosure as a Distraction, Says Joe Rogan

On a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, podcaster Joe Rogan discussed with Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) the possibility that President Donald Trump might soon reveal classified information regarding unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs), commonly referred to as UFOs. Rogan suggested this disclosure could serve as a strategic distraction amid ongoing complications with Iran.

Rogan, well known for his insights into the “manosphere” and as a voice for independent support of Trump’s 2024 campaign, has echoed criticism of the current administration’s foreign policy. This comes at a time when Trump’s original promise to steer clear of “forever wars” seems increasingly at odds with the escalating conflict in Iran, which has frustrated some allies and media supporters of the White House.

During their conversation, Rogan expressed confusion over the timing of potential disclosures. “What I don’t completely understand is why would we disclose it now? I mean, other than this being cynical…the Iran war isn’t going very well,” he mused, noting a public desire for positive news. “I need something to distract me,” he added, underscoring his point.

Burchett responded, acknowledging that while the timing appears questionable, Trump’s motives might be more straightforward. “I don’t think Trump cares at all about the distraction,” he said, suggesting instead that the president wants the information out for the sake of transparency. “But I think he really understands that America needs to know this,” Burchett explained.

Rogan noted that despite being in a position of power, Trump still embodies an “outsider” mentality. “He realizes that America wants to know… I mean, this is his last term, right?” Rogan reflected. “If somebody’s going to do it, they should do it. Do you want to leave a legacy? Be the person who releases all these files.”

Burchett, a long-time advocate for UAP transparency, pointed out that even if the president supports disclosing information, there are “entrenched forces” within the military establishment hindering progress. He characterized this pushback against the Pentagon as persistent and not easily swayed. “The war pimps are attacking the Pentagon, and they’re not going to give up easily,” he remarked, adding his criticism of the administration’s foreign spending in light of domestic issues. “Keep my money here. We need to protect our borders,” Burchett asserted.

The White House has not responded to inquiries about the discussion.
