Olivia Dunn Lightheartedly Teases Paul Skeens and Bobby Witt Jr.
Olivia “Libby” Dunn is certainly enjoying the playful dynamics between her boyfriend, Pirates star Paul Skeens, and his Team USA teammate, Bobby Witt Jr.
In a recent Instagram post, 23-year-old Skenes shared a selfie featuring Witt and several other teammates on a bus en route to Depot Park for the World Baseball Classic finals. The caption read: “Me and some friends going to work.”
Dunn was quick to chime in with a cheeky comment. “So amazing, thank you for sharing,” she said. Then she added, “To be honest, I’ve been replaced by Bobby,” keeping the lighthearted vibe going.
Skeens and Dunn’s relationship traces back to their days at LSU, where Skeens shone as an ace pitcher and Dunn made her mark as a star player. The fun really kicked off last week, though, when Skeens’ expression during a game went viral. He was visibly excited watching Witt’s impressive defense during a match against Mexico, showing more emotion than when Witt was awarded the National League Rookie of the Year in 2024.
Dunn even joined in on the meme frenzy, creating a twist on the famous “distracted boyfriend” meme. In her version, she humorously placed Skeens’ head on the boyfriend character with Witt’s face as his attention-grabbing distraction.
The couple has been making headlines lately for multiple reasons. Skeens has been performing exceptionally well in the World Baseball Classic, starting two games and achieving nine strikeouts with an impressive 1.08 ERA. Meanwhile, Dunn recently revealed that she will have a recurring role in a reboot of “Baywatch,” showcasing her own adventures, like sharing an image of her lifeguard training.
