Blake Griffin, the former NBA forward, and his fiancée Francesca Aiello were recently spotted enjoying a romantic stroll on the beach, hand in hand, with their dog. I think it’s nice to see a couple like that just relaxing together, you know?
Griffin, who announced his retirement planned for April 2024 after a noteworthy 14-season career, appeared relaxed alongside Aiello, a swimwear designer known for her brand, Frankie’s Bikini. During their walk, they took a moment to stand on some rocks, gazing out at the ocean.
While Griffin and Aiello have generally kept their relationship private—never officially confirming an engagement—there’s been buzz that Aiello proposed during the 2024 holiday season. It’s all a bit mysterious, really.
Aiello gained attention in early 2025 when she showcased a hefty engagement ring on her Instagram. The duo started dating back in June 2018, took a break, but ultimately rekindled their romance in August 2023. They seem to be quite happy together.
Griffin has two children, Ford, 11, and Finley, 8, from a previous relationship with Bryn Cameron, which ended in 2017. Balancing family life must keep things interesting, I imagine.
A notable figure in basketball, Griffin was the top pick in the 2009 NBA Draft and had an eight-year stint with the Clippers. He also played for the Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, and Boston Celtics. On a side note, he got involved with Amazon Prime Video’s NBA broadcasts in 2025, following a significant deal signed by Amazon with the NBA that’s worth nearly $20 billion over 11 years.
