The Masters Is Back Again

It’s that time of year again—golf’s biggest tournament is just around the corner, and, well, a lot of excitement is brewing. One key aspect this year? Technology.

The Masters really stands out in how they tackle technical issues during the tournament. Their app is user-friendly, sleek, and arguably the best in sports. In recent years, fans have gotten used to watching every single shot from their favorite players, and honestly, the tournament’s coverage is exceptional.

A New Feature That’s Impressive

Fast forward to 2026, and things have definitely leveled up.

You can now search through the Masters Vault. It contains highlights from final rounds dating back to 1968, all the way up to Rory McIlroy’s triumph last year. It’s pretty amazing.

When I first tried it, my immediate impulse was to look up “Rory Iron.” Maybe a bit predictable, but hey, it’s a classic.

If you’re in the dark, the Masters Vault has your back. Seriously!

One of the best things about the Masters is the memories tied to it—like Tiger Woods sinking that chip-in back in 2005 when he was just 16. That entire final round holds a special place in history, but knowing we can easily find those iconic shots without scrolling through hours of footage? That’s a real win.

Of course, moments with Rory and Tiger? They carry their own weight. You’ve seen them countless times, and you wouldn’t mind watching them countless more. These moments will certainly be at the forefront leading up to this year’s Masters.

Yet, some key shots often get overlooked. Take Francesco Molinari’s third shot during that dramatic Sunday in 2019—hardly gets highlighted, doesn’t it? Everyone remembers Tiger’s epic play, but it was Molinari’s slip at 15 that I think really marked a turning point that day.

I found that shot effortlessly, by the way—sorry, Francesco.

This new feature? It’s a fantastic addition.

The Masters continues to impress, as always.
