Dedicated Mets fans found amazing partners through their fan group.

The Mets were the spark that led to a unique love story.

A few members of the spirited fan group known as the 7 Line Army met while sitting in a designated section at Citi Field and also traveling to away games. Their shared passion for the Mets helped them connect, leading to a wonderful partnership.

This couple, now married and parents, will be cheering from the stands in Flushing on March 26 for the season opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Andrew Indert recognized Amanda as a great catch after she posed for a vote in a 7 Line calendar where female fans were highlighted. Following his vote, he made his move at the 2014 calendar launch party.

“I had her sign my calendar,” reminisced Andrew, a 38-year-old Brooklynite.

Yet, he continued mingling around. “The beauty of this calendar is that you can bring new girls to the group every year and get to know them all,” noted the Sanitation Department supervisor.

Amanda, 36, from Queens, recalled, “I liked him, but I didn’t really get to talk to him enough.”

Things changed in 2015 when Andrew spotted her on a bus ride to D.C. for The 7 Line’s opening day.

With two calendar girls on board, Andrew curiously asked which one would be victorious in riding on his shoulders into the stadium. Amanda cheerfully pointed up, as Andrew remembered.

Fast forward six years, they exchanged vows with 75% of their wedding guests being friends from the 7 Line, including founder Darren Meenan and his wife, Kelly.

Another couple, Richard and Tara Rincon, also found love through their shared fandom.

“We’re definitely different types of people,” Tara, 41, from East Setauket, admitted. “But the Mets were literally the only thing that bonded us.”

The pair first crossed paths at the start of the 2015 season, during the Mets’ run to the World Series.

“I think I went to almost 40 games that year, including all the playoffs,” Tara shared, another calendar girl.

Their first conversation took place at a pregame gathering at Billy’s Sports Bar near Yankee Stadium. She asked Richard for a beer while trying to locate her father.

Richard, 38, from Queens, recalled feeling a bit annoyed: “I was stuck holding her beer, thinking, ‘Who does this girl think she is?’”

Their connection flourished after the Mets lost the World Series to the Kansas City Royals, leading them to hang out with friends to cope with the disappointment.

Fast forward six years, they got married, with Andrew officiating and Amanda making a heartfelt speech.

Now, the Rincons are parents to Maximus, 8, and Lennox, 6, while the Inderts have a 2-year-old son, Hunter. All of them proudly support the Mets.
