Guthrie family urgently seeks assistance in an emotional message as the search for missing Nancy Guthrie slows down.

Community Urged to Help in Search for Missing Woman

The Guthrie family is clinging to hope, believing that someone in their mother’s Tucson community might hold vital information regarding her abduction. In an emotional statement, they expressed their gratitude to local residents for their support as they enter the seventh week of searching for their 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie.

“We still believe that Tucson residents and the surrounding communities are essential to cracking this case,” they mentioned in their remarks to KVOA.

They emphasized, “Someone knows something. It’s possible that people in this community have details that they might not think are important. We hope everyone can reflect on their memories, especially regarding the key dates: January 31st, the early hours of February 1st, and late on January 11th.”

The family is urging the community to renew its interest in Nancy’s case. They called for people to look back at things like camera footage, diary entries, text messages, or any conversations that could be significant upon reflection.

“No detail is too small. It might be what we need,” they said. The grief they feel is profound, and they can’t begin to find solace until she is safely home.

“We cannot truly grieve; it’s all just pain and wondering,” they added, emphasizing their singular focus on finding her.

They desire to honor Nancy’s wonderful and courageous life, but the family knows they can’t do that until she returns for a proper farewell.

Nancy, who is the mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie, reportedly went missing from her Tucson home in the early hours of February 1st. She was last seen after not arriving at church, and surveillance footage from her doorbell camera showed a masked figure lingering outside her home that night, which authorities believe is the person who abducted her.

Currently, police have not identified any suspects in this case.
