Kristin Cavallari Speaks Out on Social Media Behavior of Married Men
Kristin Cavallari is sharing her thoughts on the behavior of married men on social media. In a recent episode of her podcast, “Let’s Be Honest,” the 39-year-old reality TV star discussed some dating red flags. She advised women not to worry too much if their boyfriends follow other women, but noted, “Photo tastes are a bit of a red flag.”
“Ideally, I think when we start dating, my guy would unfollow women he doesn’t know,” she reflected. “But that’s not the reality we often see.”
She went on to express her view that following attractive women, especially models or actresses they’ll never meet, is pointless. “Why follow them?” she questioned.
Concerns About Attention-Seeking Behavior
Cavallari suggested that some men who appear to seek attention are often married. She mentioned, “It’s the guys who are into all those naughty stories but don’t show up with any pictures in their feed.” She has noticed this habit often leads to her encountering athletes, specifically calling them out.
“These guys are married, and I see them liking stories or posts but not following,” she said, adding that it seemed like a strategy to get her attention. “To me, it’s pretty disrespectful,” she admitted.
In a rather bold statement, she referred to such men as “trash” and even considered telling their wives about their behavior.
“The main point is, I don’t think it’s an issue if they follow women,” she concluded. “I think that’s perfectly fine.”
Past Relationships and Future Plans
Cavallari was previously married to Jay Cutler, a former football player, from 2013 to 2020, and they share three children together: Camden, Jackson, and Saylor.
She originally gained fame in 2004 on ‘Laguna Beach’ and joined ‘The Hills’ two years later. To mark the 20th anniversary of ‘Laguna Beach,’ the cast is reuniting for a special that will air on Roku on April 10.
Reflecting on her experiences, Cavallari told Jimmy Fallon in May 2025, “It felt like being back in high school,” when discussing her reunion with co-stars during her podcast tour.
She noted that gathering with old friends often brings back that youthful feeling and, of course, some nervousness. “Everyone gets a little excited—it was a great time,” she added.
