White House corrects media's 'laughable' stories about Iran, calling them completely untrue

The White House has firmly dismissed reports suggesting that significant negotiators have been excluded from the ongoing discussions with Iran. Outlets like CNN and the New York Post claimed that Iran prefers to negotiate with Vice President J.D. Vance instead of envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. However, officials in the White House refuted this depiction, insisting that only President Trump can determine who represents the United States in peace talks.

White House press secretary Caroline Levitt stated, “President Trump, and President Trump alone, decides who will negotiate on behalf of the United States.” She went on to emphasize that Vice President Vance, Secretary Marco Rubio, envoy Witkoff, and Mr. Kushner will all be part of the negotiations.

Additional officials voiced their concerns about these reports, labeling them as attempts to obstruct peace efforts. “These stories are completely false,” a White House source told Blaze News, explaining that the claims appear to originate from anonymous sources in a coordinated foreign propaganda effort aimed at undermining the president.

Another insider noted that the reports likely stem from foreign interests trying to spread misinformation about the conflict with Iran. The source further pointed out that the anonymity of these claims raises questions about their credibility.

Furthermore, it was asserted that media like CNN and the New York Post are relying on sources from other Middle Eastern nations, suggesting a deliberate intent to derail negotiations by promoting fabricated narratives. In their view, the reports reflect a dependency on external influences that may not wish to see any successful negotiations take place.
