Trump claims that Iran’s secretive leaders are hindering the peace agreement.

Trump condemns Biden for abandoning military gear in Afghanistan

President Donald Trump has expressed that ongoing peace negotiations with Iran are quite challenging, mainly due to the current leaders of the country being, as he described, “evil and sick” while remaining out of sight.

During a Cabinet meeting on Thursday, he noted, “One of the issues we face is that we engage with individuals there, but the people can’t really reach anyone anymore since they’ve lost their leadership.” Trump stressed that the initial leadership has disappeared, and there’s been no agreement to appoint new leaders, which complicates matters further.

He emphasized, “They are truly sick. They are genuinely evil and sick.”

Despite the difficulties in finding a diplomatic solution, Trump is optimistic regarding the “military operation” against Iran, claiming it might wrap up in four to six weeks. “We estimated about four to six weeks for the mission completion, and we’re actually ahead of where we thought we’d be,” he remarked, asserting that they are making substantial progress in their efforts.

Trump pointed out ongoing issues in the Strait of Hormuz, lamenting that NATO allies have only recently pledged support for the U.S., even after the Iranian military commander responsible for closing the Strait was eliminated.

Reflecting on NATO’s past performance, he remarked, “I mentioned long ago that NATO resembles a papier-mâché tiger. While we are there to assist them, they generally haven’t been willing to aid us.” He suggested that these allies are more inclined to come forward now, after the adversary has been neutralized, with some proposing assistance post-conflict.

After all of this, Trump indicated that NATO has not successfully met a crucial test, foreseeing similar challenges in potential future discussions about Ukraine and other geopolitical matters, especially after shifting Iran’s importance on his agenda.

“No one can surpass the United States,” he stated, adding that Iran’s significant losses illustrate the limited scope of their capabilities. “We’re just not on the same level.”

Trump concluded by expressing his disappointment in NATO, emphasizing that this scenario served as a test: “You can assist us or not. However, your actions will be remembered.” He urged, “Keep this in mind in the coming months. I will not forget.”
