A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Braden Peters, known online as “Klavicular,” due to allegations of assault, while one suspect is still at large, as per Florida authorities.
Peters, a well-known influencer and streamer, was taken into custody on Thursday in Broward County following a warrant from Osceola County.
The incident reportedly took place at an Airbnb in Kissimmee on February 2. A 19-year-old woman, who chose to remain anonymous, claimed she was assaulted by Peters’ girlfriend, 24-year-old Violet Marie Lentz. Authorities indicated that Peters allegedly instigated the altercation and later shared a video of the event on social media, allegedly to “exploit the two women.”
According to the sheriff’s office, Peters had rented the Airbnb where the incident occurred, but neither he nor Lentz spoke to law enforcement when they arrived. Consequently, Peters faces charges for misdemeanor assault and conspiracy to commit assault, while Lentz is also wanted for misdemeanor assault. Peters’ bail is set at $1,000.
Meanwhile, authorities are still searching for Lentz, and her arrest warrant is still active. Peters is also under investigation by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) due to a video that seemingly shows him shooting a dead alligator in the Everglades.
The video, which has gained traction on social media, appears to show Peters with three other men on a boat in the Everglades. They stopped near a seemingly lifeless crocodile, and the conversation indicates they contemplated shooting it. “Shall we shoot?” one person asks, to which Peters seemingly responds, “Let’s see how dead it really is.”
The FWC has acknowledged the video, stating it shows individuals firing weapons at alligators from an airboat and confirming that they are investigating the situation further. While they did not immediately comment on specific inquiries, updates are expected as the investigation unfolds.
