Disturbing footage shows LA 'No Kings' protesters employing harsh methods against police.

A video captured during a recent “No Kings” rally in Los Angeles shows a protester throwing a cement brick at a police officer.

The footage, shared by conservative influencer Andy Go, depicts two masked individuals—one brandishing a Mexican flag—destroying a large cement pillar and hurling its fragments at officers from the Los Angeles Police Department, who were managing the crowd near a detention center close to a federal building.

This unrest in Los Angeles was part of a broader series of demonstrations across the nation. The LAPD issued a citywide tactical alert at 5 p.m., following an incident near the Federal Metropolitan Detention Center.

Around 200 individuals gathered at the scene, provoking police by violently shaking metal gates and shouting insults. Other videos indicated that protesters waved flags representing Palestine and other nations, while also throwing objects at Homeland Security officials.

In response to escalating tensions, DHS officers deployed tear gas as LAPD officers in riot gear arrived to restore order. Demonstrators resisted arrests, leading to chaos outside the detention facility.

Authorities arrested 70 people during the protests, but it remains unclear if the individuals seen in the video were among those taken into custody.

The LAPD reported that officers suffered minor injuries from rocks thrown during the arrests. By Sunday morning, there was no update regarding specific charges or identifications, as police continued to confirm the number of arrests.

Earlier, officials indicated that nine minors had been detained for not dispersing, but they were swiftly released into their parents’ custody.

Organizers of the “No Kings” movement described Saturday’s event as potentially “the largest single-day nonviolent protest in modern American history,” claiming a turnout of at least 8 million participants across over 3,300 rallies in all 50 states.

Demonstrators voiced their opposition to Donald Trump, criticizing his policies, the increasing cost of living, and the ongoing conflict with Iran. The protests showcased a significant outpouring of dissent.

Notably, various celebrities, including actor Robert De Niro and state Attorney General Letitia James, were reportedly present at different rallies.

The “No Kings” movement has seen significant protests before, with notable demonstrations occurring in June 2025 and October 2025, leading up to this larger wave in March 2026.
