Texas judge Nathan Milliron recorded scolding IT worker for assisting with computer issue

Judge’s Outburst Towards IT Worker Goes Viral

A judge in Texas has become the center of controversy after a video surfaced showing him confronting an IT worker who was assisting with a minor computer issue in his courtroom.

The clip features Harris County Judge Nathan Milliron in an intense exchange over what seems to be an audio problem. At one point, the IT staff member attempted to clarify, saying, “You don’t have to go too far. You just joined here via audio, right?”

Milliron confirmed this, but the situation escalated. After the worker indicated that everything was resolved, the judge suggested otherwise, insisting that it wasn’t just a “false alarm.”

In a bid to lighten the mood, the technician joked that it might be a “false negative,” but this did not sit well with the judge. Milliron was clearly annoyed, stating that the issue was serious.

“I’m serious about this. It actually happened,” he asserted, cutting off further discussion by raising his hand.

He then firmly instructed the IT worker to leave the courtroom. Yet, shortly after the technician exited, Milliron was still fuming, telling someone off-camera to “find your boss” and expressing frustration with, “Jesus, I’m tired of today’s bullshit.”

This footage has garnered over 3 million views on social media platforms, with many viewers expressing outrage over the treatment of the IT worker, who was simply trying to do his job.

Comments on social media reflected a mix of disbelief and frustration. One user pointed out that the technician was merely being polite, while another remarked on the judge’s lack of humility. A sarcastic comment captured a common sentiment: “But I’m sure everyone in the courtroom has a fair chance.”

Judge Milliron has held his position in the 215th District Court since January 2025. The courthouse confirmed that the technician was an employee and well-regarded among his peers.

Despite the public backlash, Milliron, as an elected official, is largely shielded from disciplinary actions by district court administrators. However, Civil Court Administrative Judge LaBea Collier emphasized the need for professionalism in the judicial system, stating that they take concerns about conduct seriously.

Collier also noted the existence of formal procedures for addressing judicial conduct issues, underlining the division’s commitment to serving the community with respect and integrity.
