Army Examines Apache Helicopter Flyover at Kid Rock's Property

U.S. Military Investigates Apache Helicopter Flyby of Kid Rock’s Mansion

The U.S. military announced on Monday that an administrative investigation has been initiated following an incident where an Apache helicopter was filmed flying near the Nashville home of musician Kid Rock over the weekend.

Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, is known as a supporter of President Donald Trump and has publicly backed him multiple times throughout Trump’s second term.

On Saturday, Rock shared two videos on social media showing Apache helicopters flying and hovering close to his Nashville mansion, which he affectionately calls the “White House of the South.”

In one clip, Rock greets one of the helicopters with a salute and even raises his fist in excitement. In the other, he can be seen cheering as the helicopter flies over.

“This is a level of respect. [expletive]. The Governor of California has a brain you’ll never know. God bless America and all those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect her,” Rock wrote in the caption for one of the videos.

Maj. Jonathon Brace, spokesperson for the 101st Airborne Division stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, about 90 miles from Nashville, commented that the Army is aware of the situation and has started looking into the videos, as reported by The Hill and The New York Times.

“Military aviators must adhere to strict safety standards, professionalism, and established flight regulations,” Brace stated.

He added that an administrative review is currently underway to assess the mission and ensure compliance with regulatory and airspace standards, indicating that “appropriate action” will be taken if any violations are discovered.

Rock has been a long-time advocate for Trump, supporting him during his initial campaign in 2016.

Since Trump was reelected, Rock has made appearances at the White House, including a recent shirtless promotional video for the Department of Health and Human Services in which he trained alongside Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Rock has frequently defended Trump against his critics and has engaged in online debates with California Governor Gavin Newsom, who may run for the Democratic nomination in 2028.

Responding to Rock’s video, Newsom’s office briefly stated: “Useless. Fraud. Abuse.”
