Reality TV Stars Report Assault
The stars of the popular reality show *Gown and Out in Beverly Hills* have reported a frightening street assault. Pol Atteu and Patrick Simpson have taken steps to file charges for property damage with the Los Angeles Police Department following an incident involving their Mercedes.
This occurred Sunday morning at a busy intersection—Melrose Avenue and Vine Street. The couple claims that while they were stopped at a red light, a driver parked in front of them suddenly exited his vehicle.
According to their statement, the individual approached their car and hit the driver’s side door and window, resulting in damage estimated at around $5,000. Afterward, the suspect allegedly drove away.
“I feel confident that the LAPD will find the person who attacked us, arrest him, and take action,” Atteu expressed. “We truly appreciate the attention they are giving to ensure justice.”
Video from the incident shows a man in a Toyota 4Runner abruptly stopping in front of the couple’s Mercedes-Benz, then approaching and punching the window, clearly damaging the vehicle.
What prompted this altercation remains unclear, and the TV personalities maintain they did nothing to provoke such behavior.
Following the incident, the couple called 911 while trying to follow the driver. On Tuesday, they had police assess the damage and formally filed a complaint with the LAPD’s Hollywood Division.
“I was informed that I might face a felony charge,” Simpson said, adding, “It’s only a matter of time before he gets caught.”
