Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos are finding it difficult to come to terms with their “surreal” breakup as their wedding date looms closer.
Sources have revealed that the ex-couple is still trying to understand what went wrong. “They are both still processing the emotions surrounding the wedding, which was supposed to happen in just a few days,” the source mentioned, adding that guests set to attend the April 10 wedding in Lake Como, Italy, remain in contact with them.
Both 32 years old, Prescott, the NFL quarterback, and his former fiancée are co-parenting two young daughters: 2-year-old Margaret and 10-month-old Aurora. According to a report, “they can’t simply break up” because of their situation. “They still need to face the reality of it all,” the source explained.
“They’re right in the thick of everything,” the insider continued. “They haven’t had the space to really cry or fully process it. They’re doing all they can to avoid focusing on the fact that their relationship has come to an end.” The report suggests that while they are coping, both Prescott and Ramos are “emotionally unsettled yet trying to maintain a brave front.”

Last month, it was announced that the couple would not be proceeding with their wedding. Ramos sent out a message to loved ones expressing apologies for the situation and thanking them for their support.
Reports indicate that their romance started in 2023, and they got engaged the following year. However, the wedding was called off due to suspicions of “infidelity,” with claims that Ramos believed Prescott had been communicating with other women during their relationship.
In the midst of their split, they have agreed to negotiate temporary custody arrangements for their children amicably. Prescott proposed to Ramos in October 2024, just eight months after starting their family, and they welcomed their second child in May of the following year.
