Vanessa Trump, Donald Trump’s former daughter-in-law, has spoken out on social media following the recent arrest of Tiger Woods for drunk driving in Florida. This incident occurred just days after they were seen together at the Florida Golf League Championship, where Woods was participating, and Vanessa’s daughter, Kai Trump, was in the audience.
Woods was arrested on multiple charges, including drunk driving, after a rollover crash in Jupiter Island, Florida. This marked a shift in Vanessa’s public support for him.
On her Instagram Story early Friday, she shared a photo of herself embracing Woods while lounging in a hammock, captioning it with “I love you.” Interestingly, this was the same image Woods had posted when he first revealed their relationship in March 2025. He had expressed sentiments about their journey together and requested privacy in that post.
Recently, President Trump commented to the New York Post regarding Woods’ arrest, saying, “I think he’s doing well.” He also mentioned that Woods had tested negative for alcohol, attributing some of Woods’ troubles to ongoing physical issues related to his back and legs.
Details from the arrest affidavit indicated that deputies noticed signs of impairment at the scene, noting Woods appeared lethargic and was sweating significantly. He was taken into custody after failing a series of field sobriety tests. During a search, law enforcement discovered two white pills in his pocket, later confirmed to be hydrocodone, a prescription painkiller.
Woods informed the authorities he had undergone seven surgeries on his back and more than twenty on his legs, and that he was taking multiple prescription medications. While in custody, he took a breathalyzer test, which came back at 0.00. However, he refused to provide a urine sample, resulting in additional charges.
This week, Woods pleaded not guilty and announced his intention to step away from golf to focus on his health and seek treatment.
