Moby Calls for Boycott Against Trump-Associated Companies

Far-left artist Moby is urging Americans to avoid businesses that support President Donald Trump and federal immigration officials. He conveyed his thoughts in a video shared on social media.

“The issue isn’t just about being outraged by what we’re seeing in America; it’s about how we respond to it,” Moby stated.

The musician proposed six recommendations for his followers, including a boycott of companies backing Trump and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and preparing to be an active, engaged citizen for the long haul.

“First up is protest, which is a constitutional right that Trump’s administration seems to want to undermine,” Moby cautioned. “Whether it’s gathering in the streets, voicing opinions on social media, or speaking out at work, we must continue to make our voices heard,” he added.

He also emphasized the importance of voting—not just in the upcoming midterm elections, but in all special elections throughout the year.

“Part three: Boycott the companies that are aligned with Trump and ICE. We all know who they are,” he insisted.

Next, Moby advised supporters to endorse politicians committed to resisting Trump and ICE.

He further encouraged fans to rally around fellow activists, saying, “We must unite, even if our views don’t perfectly align.”

He echoed a famous quote from Abraham Lincoln: “A house divided against itself cannot stand,” a phrase originally attributed to Jesus Christ but popularized by Lincoln in his 1858 speech.

Moby concluded by reminding others to take care of themselves—sleep well, eat healthily, and maintain physical fitness—so they can be effective activists daily.

“Feel angry, feel scared,” he quoted Joe Strummer of The Clash, remarking that there’s strength in anger when channeled properly.

This isn’t Moby’s first criticism of President Trump. Earlier, musicians supporting Biden and Harris labeled the president as “demented” and “narcissistic,” apologizing to the global community. Last year, Moby challenged Trump voters to acknowledge their mistake.

In 2022, he announced he would leave Company X in protest of Elon Musk’s takeover of the platform, calling it a “cesspool of racism, anti-Semitism, and mindless alt-right hate,” declaring, “It’s time to quit.”
