Accusations Against Michelle Dick Following Incident with Lindsey Buckingham
Michelle Dick was arrested on Friday, facing multiple charges after allegedly throwing an unidentified liquid at Lindsey Buckingham, the former guitarist of Fleetwood Mac. Reports indicate she has seven criminal charges filed against her, which include two for stalking and two for making threats with the intent to create fear. These charges are connected to an incident from March, as documented by records obtained by TMZ. Additionally, she is charged with assault with a deadly weapon that isn’t a firearm, battery, and vandalism.
According to allegations, Dick tracked Buckingham to an appointment in Santa Monica and threw the liquid on him. He reportedly had an existing restraining order against her, established in December 2024, due to her alleged harassment of him and his family over several years.
Buckingham described in court how Dick initially contacted his family back in 2021 by obtaining his wife Kristen’s personal mobile number. He claimed she bombarded his wife with calls daily, leaving lengthy messages that included bizarre assertions, such as claiming to be Buckingham’s child and issuing threats against his family.
For a few years, it seemed the situation was under control, but things took a turn in September 2024, when Dick started her troubling behavior again. Buckingham mentioned that she sent a collage of pictures featuring both their faces, which was attached to their mailboxes.
In 2025, Buckingham testified that Dick had falsely reported to the police that his son was suicidal at their home, claiming to have heard gunshots, which resulted in a significant police response. Twelve officers reportedly conducted a search of his residence, during which Buckingham was detained for around 20 minutes.
He recounted various other unwelcome interactions, claiming that she had even tried to demand money from him. Buckingham emphasized that he does not know Dick and is, in fact, not her father.
The restraining order against Dick mandates that she maintains a distance of at least 100 yards from Buckingham and his family, affecting their homes, workplaces, and vehicles. This order is set to remain in effect through 2029, as per court documents.
As for the repercussions Dick might face following her arrest, the details remain unclear.
